Axel Borchert, Managing Director / CEO

Axel Borchert completed his industrial training in business management. He continued his studies in geography with a focus on cartography and GIS from which he received his German Diploma (MA). He completed the Master Program in Geography in Canada. Axel worked in sales, academic research and has worked frequently as a lecturer at universities and technical colleges in Germany, Austria and Canada.  He established a multimedia agency with a focus on geo-visualization in the 90's. In 2000, Axel founded Borchert GeoInfo GmbH, now BGI Solutions, to which as of recently, has been awarded "Microsoft Country Partner of the Year 2010".

Peter Brack, CTO

Peter Brack studied geography with a main focus on geo informatics and cartography and received his German Diploma (MA). Peter has worked for the consulting affiliate from one of Germany’s largest housing associations for the last 7 years and is currently the team leader for Technical Presales Support Bing Maps EMEA and CTO of BGI Solutions. Since the late 90’s Peter has worked with internet based map platforms and has had long-standing leading administrative experience in IT-consulting and innovation management in the German real estate industry.

The team of BGI Solutions & Consulting consists of well experienced staff members in the areas of software developement, geo informatics, geographical information systems, mapping and geo marketing  as well as market and economic research, consulting and renewable energy.
