Axel Borchert, Managing Director / CEO

Born in 1966, trained as an industrial business manager, studied geography, business administration and cartography at the Free University, Berlin and WLU, Canada. Worked in distribution, academic research and as a lecturer at universities and technical colleges. Founded a multimedia agency with a focus on geo-visualization. In 2000, founded Borchert GeoInfo GmbH. Since then has been leading a steadily and organically growing team of specialists for IT, geo and research. Married, 3 children.

Peter Brack, CEO / CTO

Born in 1966, trained as an offset printer, later studied geography, geoinformatics and cartography at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Musician, member of the founding team of Borchert GeoInfo GmbH. Collected several years of team leading experience in IT, consulting, and innovations in the German real estate industry before returning to BGI as a CTO in early 2009.
